E235 steel is a medium strength structural steel characterized by good weldability, strength and ease of machining. The letter E in the designation, classifies the steel as machineable, while the numerical value determines the minimum yield strength of 235 MPa. Thanks to its reduced carbon content, it is easily weldable by all common methods such as arc, MIG and MAG welding, which allows it to be widely used in welded structures. In addition, it is characterized by good ductility, which is important for the production of structural elements. Thanks to its ductility, the steel is suitable for cold forming, making it possible to produce parts with precise shapes. E235 steel has good machinability, allowing easy turning, milling and drilling.
E235+N steel is a non-alloyed structural steel supplied in normalized (+N) condition, which means it has undergone a normalization process that improves the uniformity of the material's structure and mechanical properties. Thanks to its excellent ductility, weldability and good machinability, E235+N steel is widely used in the construction and engineering industries, as well as in the manufacture of pipes and structural components.
