25CrMo4 steel is a popular grade of alloyed, structural, tempering steel, it is used in the construction of structures exposed to heavy loads and high temperatures. It is characterized by high ductility and good strength, resistance to varying loads and bending and torsion. Thanks to its appropriately designed chemical composition, it is distinguished by good hardenability and can be easily welded.
Its special advantage is that it can be used for the construction of components exposed to high temperatures. In industry, it is known as boiler steel, and as a result it is often used in the power industry, where products made from it can operate in the temperature range of 450 to 530℃. As a structural material, it is also used to make parts that are subjected to variable loads and those that are subjected to bending and torsion during operation.

25CrMo4 steel application
25CrMo4 steel is widely used in various industries, while as boiler steel it is most often implemented by the power industry. It is used for the construction of such elements as:
- welded flanges and rims for pipes, covers, nuts, loaded bolts, blades and turbine parts such as rotors or discs.
In addition, it is also used in components
- toothed shafts, steam pipes and control parts such as rods or levers.
As a structural material, it is used in the automotive, aerospace and engineering industries. Thanks to its high ductility, it is used to make parts subjected to varying loads and those that are subjected to bending and twisting during operation, such as:
- engine connecting rods, crankshafts, axles, compressors, as well as finer products such as pipe casings, bolts, rivets, bushings or rods.
