Description
Semi-closed channels are formed from steel in the shape of the letter "C" with additional arms and are distinguished from ordinary channels by the number of walls, of which there are 5.
Examples of the use of semi-closed channels: the manufacture of frames, furniture, frames, vehicle components, fencing or infrastructure components, machine and equipment parts, structural components, gate guides, door frame components.
Advantages of semi-closed channels: high strength, load-bearing capacity, resistance to bending, reduced weight.
As a standard, semi-closed channels are manufactured from S235JR structural steel, hence the name of the S235JR channel grade, and other grades may be available upon request.
