What is a drawn square bar?
Drawnsquare bars are produced by drawing hot-rolled bar through a drawing die. The result is a cold-drawn square bar with tight dimensional tolerance, free of various surface defects, straightened and less ductile compared to ordinary g/w bar.
Cold-drawn square bars are mostly used in the manufacture of various types of steel structures, railings, balustrades, fences, and in the production of industrial machinery components that can withstand heavy loads.
The main advantage of cold-drawn square bar is its high strength, which is obtained after the drawing process. The drawing process also has an impact on the appearance, the surface is deprived of the vendor's scale and small discontinuities, so the bars can be used without additional processing.
Steel grades of square drawn bars, which are switched in our offer, include S235JRC+C (so-called "soft" drawn steel), S355JRC+C (so-called "hard" drawn steel), C45E+C (carbon steel drawn).
The dimensions of the drawn square bars offered by Moris Sp. z o.o. are in the range from 8x8 mm to 60x60 mm and in the length of 3000 mm (the rest of the dimensions by agreement).
