What is an IPE I-section?
IPE I -beams are cross sections with parallel walls. The shape of this I-beam resembles two letters "T" joined between each other, and hence its name "double-T". Steel sections, depending on the grade of steel, can be cut, bent or welded, so they are widely used in the construction of various buildings.
The advantage of IPE I-beams is their high load-bearing capacity together with their light weight (compared to ordinary rectangular sections).
The application of IPE I -beams is most often in construction (steel structures, beams or columns), engineering industry (frames of large vehicles, crane beams), elements of road infrastructure.
Steel grades of IPE I-beams that we can offer for you include S235JR, S355J2, S275JR, the rest - by arrangement.
Size range of IPE I-beams: from 80 mm to 600 mm, typical lengths of 6000 mm or 12000 mm.
