What is a cold-formed closed section?
Cold-formedclosed sections (profiles) are formed when a strip of steel sheet is bent on a machine equipped with bending machines with rollers and welded. As a result, closed profiles of square / rectangular cross-section are formed.
The advantage of cold-formed closed sections is their better strength, rigidity and the possibility of producing thinner walls (compared to hot-rolled sections).
Wide possibilities of application of cold-formed hollow sections make it possible to use the sections to create various structures, for example, in the construction of industrial or sports halls, shopping malls, wall transoms, agricultural facilities, utility rooms and many others.
We offer you a wide range of cold-formed hollow sections, including grades S235JRH and S355J2H.
Available dimensions of cold-formed hollow sections range from 15x15x1.5 mm and up to 300x300x12.5 mm, standard lengths are 6000 mm or 12000 mm. The rest of the dimensions or grades can be available upon request.
