What is hot-rolled angle iron?
Hot-rolled angle bar is a product that show greater ability for further processing. It can be easily cut, welded or ground. However, the disadvantage is its appearance, which is due to the formation of scale on the surface of the steel. Therefore, if the angle is to be a visible element, it is better to go for cold-rolled angle immediately - unless it will be painted in further stages of the project.
Applications of hot-rolled angle bars: they are mainly used for building complex structures such as bridge slabs, trusses or frames in road, residential and industrial construction.
The advantages of hot-rolled angles are mainly the parameters which are characterized by strength, durability and good resistance to weather conditions. Installation and joining is carried out smoothly.
