Description
Key features and unique characteristics:
- Rail profile: 60E1
- Steel grade: R350HT
- Hole type: 3 holes on both sides
- Length: 30 m
Steel compliance and mechanical properties:
- R350HT steel is a high-carbon steel with chromium and vanadium additives, characterized by a tensile strength of over 1175 MPa and a hardness of 350 HB.
- It provides excellent properties under high dynamic loads and severe operating conditions.
- Higher hardness means less susceptibility to deformation.
Main applications and examples of practical use:
- 60E1 R350HT rail is preferred for major railroads, including high-speed passenger routes and heavy freight lines.
- The 60E1 profile is ideal for high-traffic and high-speed routes due to its higher weight and greater strength.
- Use is favorable in extreme conditions, such as harsh climatic conditions or mountainous areas, where rail strength and stability are crucial.
A brief comparison with other steel grades:
- Compared to R260 steel, the R350HT grade has higher strength and hardness, which translates into longer service life in heavily used railroads.
- However, the high hardness of R350HT steel can make machining processes such as cutting or welding
- more
- difficult compared to lower hardness steels.< /ul
