Comparison with other grades:
Compared to unalloyed steels, 25CrMo4 steel has significantly higher strength and hardness, making it a better choice for structural and demanding applications. Other alloy steels, such as 16/20MNCR5 or 16MNCRS5, may have similar properties, but differ in chemical composition and special characteristics, such as better machinability or greater ductility.
