Product category:
Hot-dip galvanized sheets are cold-formed sheets that have been cleaned and coated with a layer of hot zinc. They provide excellent resistance to scratches and weathering, such as precipitation, sunshine and temperature changes. They are commonly used in the manufacture of parts for automobiles, household appliance housings, gutters, roofs, doors, pipes, etc. The most popular grade is DX51D with a zinc coating thickness of Z275.

Comparison with other grades:
Compared to S235 and S355 structural steels, DX51D sheet has lower strength but much better corrosion resistance. It is an economical solution where corrosion protection is required rather than superior mechanical strength.
