Drawn or peeled round bar S235JRC+C
- Drawn round bars are formed by machining on drawing machines, during which the material is drawn through a trapezoidal cylinder of smaller diameter. The result is improved strength, surface smoothness and dimensional accuracy.
- Hulled round bars obtain the required diameter by mechanically slicing the surface, removing scale and imperfections.
- Drawn or peeled bars are used, among others, in the automotive, furniture, construction and concrete reinforcement industries.
- Steel grade S235JRC+C is a structural low-carbon steel with additional drawing or peeling treatment, which improves its strength, dimensional accuracy and surface appearance.
